A little help along the way

On the home screen, use an Add Reader sign. Enter a name or nickname, then choose a reading level. You can also manage readers in Settings.

The app has room for three reader profiles. To make room for a new reader, delete an existing reader in Settings. That reader’s saved progress is removed, so choose carefully.

Easy is for younger readers. Advanced is a version of the same story for more experienced readers. Narrator uses the Easy story with recorded narration and character voices.

Use the page arrows or swipe to move through the story. Open MENU for navigation, text size, and Settings. Home takes you back to the main Brookdom scene.

Your place is bookmarked automatically. Continue Reading on the home screen returns to the unfinished story. You do not need to press a Save button.

Open MENU in the story and use the plus or minus buttons beside Text.

Use Replay beneath the gnome when it is available. In Settings → Options, you can choose whether animations play once daily or every time.

Choose Narrator for recorded story reading. Use the narration Play or Pause control. Narration waits at illustrations and quizzes so you can look around or answer before moving on.

Check your device volume and the sound options in Settings. A web browser may need a tap before it allows sound. Illustration captions remain available to read.

No. Take your time. Fewer attempts earn more coins; answering faster does not.

Look closely at illustrations and any hints beneath them. Some pictures have a place you can tap to reveal a sound or animation.

Each eligible quiz, discovery, and story milestone awards coins once per reader. You can still revisit the story and enjoy its surprises.

Reach the story’s end page. The app awards the completion reward once for that reader.

Not yet. Story and realm redemption is being planned. The Coins page will explain the choices when available.

Visit the Shop for books and the Brookdom app. Choose Order by email to open a message with your selection and price. Send it to friend@brookdom.com; Brookdom will reply with payment and delivery details. App account linking is still being developed.

The website is being set up to show Return to app when opened from Brookdom. Visitors arriving directly at the website will not see that button. This connection is still being completed.
